⭐ Kitchen report
The Kitchen Report gives your culinary team a clean, always-updated view of guest allergies, dietary notes, pack meals, and special orders. Mount it in the kitchen on a tablet and your chef will get instant updates the moment the front desk enters new information.
It can be printed if needed, but the live version keeps you synced down to the second.
You’ll see:
- Updated in-house guest counts
- Allergy and dietary details
- Pack meals for tours (AKA tour lunches)
- Special items like cakes or custom orders
⭐ Recording and using allergy and dietary preference notes
In every Guest Profile, there's a spot for you to record allergies and their severities, or even other dietary restrictions like 'Halal' or 'Vegetarian' or even 'Dislikes broccoli.' Once you've recorded it, you'll see it throughout Planniac on activities, itineraries and more
⭐ Setting up and using pack meals
If your property sends out tour lunches, snacks, BBQ kits, or any other take-along meals, this feature keeps the kitchen organized and the guests fed.
In Settings > Pack meals
Create and manage your Pack Meals under Admin Settings > Pack Meals.
You can add and edit as many Pack Meal types as you want. Each one includes:
- Pack meal name – short kitchen-friendly label
- Provider – usually your kitchen, but can be outsourced
- Contents – what’s inside the pack
- Allergens – for guest safety
- Notes – details like packaging or delivery specifics
Once saved, Pack Meals appear as selectable options when booking activities.
In Settings > Activities: assign pack meals to activities
- Step 1: Activate Pack Meals for each activity and operator
- Step 2: Select the default Pack Meal
- Step 3: Review and filter by meal type
In planns: using pack meals
When booking an activity:
- Open or create the activity
- Select the Pack Meal
- Add any special instructions
If you added default instructions in the Admin Settings, they appear automatically.
Pack meals on the Kitchen report
Assigned Pack Meals show up next to the guest’s name and also appear in a summary at the bottom.
Tap any Pack Meal to see full contents, allergens, and notes.
