πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ How do I use 'Not yet selected'?

Planniac puts a 'Not yet selected' option on your account. Here's what it's for and how to use it.

The "Not yet selected" provider is a default option that pops up whenever you create a new activity (except for Events). You can pick it just like any other provider, which is handy if you've got a bunch of options for a particular activity and haven't nailed down which one you'll go with when you're planning for a guest. If you do pick it, it'll show up in red on the Planns screen. If you're sticking with one supplier for an activity or want to make sure the front desk picks a provider right away, you can ditch the "Not yet selected" option from that activity altogether. The pricing and tax stuff for "Not yet selected" works like any other activity. It's smart to set the price at the highest rate among all your providers for that activity. That way, if you switch providers later, the guest might even get a pleasant surprise with a lower bill -- but in any case you're sure you've covered the bottom line. For upselling activities, "Not yet selected" is a solid choice because it lets you allocate the provider later. And guests never see the provider's name, so they won't know it's not finalized yet. You can rename "Not yet selected" to whatever you like, but it'll still play the same role and show up in red on the Planns screen. If your hotel was set up before we introduced this feature in Planniac, you won't see it in your Activities & Pricing tables unless you decide to add it.
