✅  HOW TO: Use Zero-Price Activities (Article 2a)

What this helps you do

Mark complimentary services so they won’t be accidentally billed, and so they clear off your Planns screen automatically at the end of the day.

Step 1: Mark the activity as Zero Price

In Resources, tick the Zero Price checkbox for any activity that is always complimentary.

Examples:

• Umbrella loans
• Free bikes
• Welcome amenities
• Complimentary snorkel gear

Step 2: See Zero-Price items easily on the Planns screen

Zero-price items:

• show no Payment Method
• show no Balance
• disappear automatically at end of day

This keeps your Planns screen clean and accurate.

Step 3: Reduce mistakes

With Zero-Price set:

• Your team won’t accidentally add a charge
• You won’t need to add a payment method just to clear the activity
• Guests still see the item on their itinerary

Example scenario

Your resort offers free kayaks. By marking the kayak rental as Zero Price, your staff sees instantly that it’s complimentary and no billing step is required.
